GALLERIES

Obsidian Gallery in Tucson, Arizona carries a thoughtful selection of fine craft, and has earned a great reputation with both its customers and the artists it has represented throughout its ninteen-year history. I am proud to say that this gallery represents me since October, 2005.

The Hoffman Gallery on the campus of the Oregon College of Art & Craft is host to changing exhibitions put together by the fabulous Gallery Director Arthur DeBow and his staff. It also boasts a wide array of items in its gallery shop - think the best gifts ever! They have represented me since 2000. Click on the photo above to see their current exhibition schedule.

If you're in San Francisco, you MUST visit Velvet da Vinci, a gallery of contemporary craft specializing in artist jewelry and metalwork. Click on the image above to learn more. I have been lucky enough to be in several shows at this gallery, which curates some of the most thought-provoking and insightful exhibitions in the metals field. Cheers to its owners, Elizabeth Shypertt and Mike Holmes, for their consistently great work.

In a time when most major museums and galleries are ripping any semblence of the word "craft" from their names and images, Contemporary Crafts Museum and Gallery is working harder than ever to highlight it. For that I heartily applaud them. Check out what this Portland institution has to offer by clicking their logo above. I currently serve on their Exhibition Committee, and am a card-carrying member of CCMG. You should be, too!

The Northwest is lucky to have such a cutting-edge contemporary jewelry gallery as Facere in Seattle. It may seem an unlikely location (in a shopping center downtown), but if you want to see a great collection of truly exceptional work, as well as inspiring exhibitions, it will exceed your expectations. Click on the logo above to view their site.

Click on the image above to view the jewelry and metals page of Mobilia Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They represent some of my favorite metal artists, and mount some of the most impressive exhibitions in the country.
